Stay At Hambali's House

I stayed over at Hambali's house twice this holiday. It was a great stay over. Azfar and I went to his house after going back from prayers at the mosque that Friday to bring clothes. We watched CDs, played the computer, and played soccer andthhe computer. We also cycled around the the blocks and stayed up late playing, and talking. The holidays are about to end and then, I would have to concentrate on my studies as I will be taking my PSLE next year.

Madrasah Results

I just got my madrasah report book today and buy the books needed for classes next year. I got 4th in my class this semester and it was the lowest position I ever got. It wasn't bad but what can I say but it was better than what I had expected considering that I hadn 't studied properly and I forgot to bring my books to study during my stayover at Akmal's house for 4 days.

This Friday, I stayed over at my cousin's house whose name is Hambali. I went there together with my cousin, Azfar,after the Friday prayers. We played the computer and played soccer downstairs. Then we went to Pioneer Mall to buy some drinks and snacks. Then at night,we watched a movie and ate the snacks while watching the movie. The next morning, we ate cheese prata for breakfast and we went over to my house to play the Xbox360 together till night.

The Renovation

My house is currently under renovation. It not very comfortable as it is very dusty and we have to eat out during lunch and dinner and have bread during breakfast. During the noisy parts of the renovation,we go out of the house to my nearby relatives house. THe good parts is that sometimes we get to go to fast food restaurants.

the stay over at akmal's house

What a great week. I spent my time on Tuesday till Friday at my cousin's house at Pasir Ris. We played the Xbox for a long time and and played his PSP before sleeping. We played games like FIFA street 2 and starwars battlefront 2 on his Xbox and 300, Virtual Tennis 3 and Sims2 on his PSP. We woke up late, had breakfast and then we started playing. We stopped at tmes when we were to pray and have our meals. We slept late at night too.

Azfar's sleepover

Azfar sleptover at my house two days ago. We had a lot of fun. We played the Xbox360 from afternoon till night playing games like FIFA 08 ,Halo 3 and Gears of War. My brother always gets the highest score for HAlo 3. We also played the online game Soldier front on the computer.

THe PRize Giving Ceremony

Last friday was the prize giving ceremony. I had to be there at 8.30a.m. as I was a prize recipient as I was best in Higher Malay but it was a complete waste of time as we had to wait for 1 and 1/2 hr. We also had to wait for the P1 to P4 pupils to receive their prizes before it was our turn. It took about 45minutes and all I got was a $15 popular voucher. After that, we had to watch a presentataion by the speech and drama club.

the holiday to KL

I just returned from a holiday to KL with my family and some other relatives. I skipped school for a day as we were on on holiday. We visited quite a few places and got a bit lost while driving there. The trip lasted for 3 days and 2 nights at the Mi Casa hotel.

The Week of Exams

The exams which lasted for a week are over. Finally I can stop studying for exams and start playing cards at school with my friends. I also sat for the last exam just now which was the Higher Malay exam and when I got home, I could play my Xbox360 and the computer. I got some of the results too and I was quite satisfied with them, especially my malay exam.

The Beginning of Exams

My year end exam is strating and the main paper starts next week. My teachers have given plenty of revision over this term and i think that I am quite ready for it. My oral exams and listening comprehension exams and the comprhention exams are over. I still have to revise for the exams so I can get good grades.

Hari Raya Aidilfitri

It has been a good Hari Raya so far. I got a lot of money from my aunts and uncles and also had a lot of fun. I have not gone to my friend's house yet but I intend to do so. Them bad thing is that Hari Raya occurs in between my exams this time but it is also during the PSLE marking days so I have plenty of time to relax too.

The PSLE marking days

One whole week of holidays. Finally I can relax for a week,and do homework that the teacher assigned. I also have to do some online homework which will be sent to me online by my teachers. It was said that each teacher would give about 5 homework. At least I can look forward to playing the Xbox360 and the computer and also Hari Raya Aidilfitri which will come tomorrow.

children's day concert

Yesterday was my school's children's day celebration. We had one and a half hour of recess which was great so we got to play soccer for a longer time. The also set up booths for the students to play games. After that, a children's day concert was held. The teachers entertained us and some of their jokes were'nt funny.

the civic distric trail

Last week, me and my class went on the civic district trail at Marina Bay. There were a lot of things to learn about such as the World War memorials. We walked a long distance under the blazing sun although the muslims were fasting . We were awfully thristy but we still fasted although there were people selling ice-cream along the way.

The fasting month

The fasting month began a few days ago. It was not so bad as at school I still have enough energy to play soccer. At around 6.00p.m. was the time that I started to feel hungry. Somehow,I could not eat much when we breakfast.

The Holidays

What a holiday it was. Me and my family went to Cameron Highland this holidays. We started the trip on Sunday morning. We stopped for the night at Kuala Lumpur. While we were there, we watched some fireworks at Putrajaya. It was a beautiful city with tall and new buildings. When we were at Cameron Highland, we went to many farms there and stayed at a hotel called the Equatorial. It was a memorable and wonderful experience.

The exam results

I just received my report book yesterday. I scored straight band 2s. I was quite disappointed by my science results which was 81/100 as I always get a band 1 or an A*. I was also disappointed in my Malay results as I only got 77/100 but I also topped the class. I got 73/100 for higher Malay with only a score of 73/100. I also got 84/100 for my English exams.

My exams 2007

My exams just started this Monday. I just took my last exam today for the CA2. On Monday, it was English. On Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday, Friday, it was maths, science, Malay and higher Malay. I got 42/50 for English, 81/100 for my maths. I hadn't got my results for Science and I topped the Malay exam with the marks of 38 and a half/50. I also did not get my higher Malay results yet because I just took the exam today. I think I did quite well now but there is still the Science and higher Malay results to worry about.

The Simpsons Movie

Yesterday, me and my family went to watch the Simpson's movie at Vivo City . The movie was hilarious and very enjoyable. It was about Homer, who took care of a pig and dumped the droppings into a lake in the town which caused the town to be the most polluted town ever so the EPA put a giant dome around it. Only the Simpson's knew a way out. I'm not going to tell the whole story but it is a very good movie.

The new game

Last week my father bought an Xbox360 game called Call Of Duty 2. We bought a second-hand game at a cost of $29 which was very cheap compared to buying a new one. The game was quite fun. It was about us,taking part in World War 2 as someone else. We can play the Russian, British or American campaign. We use different characters in different campaigns and get to use different weapons. I have reached the American campaign in a matter of days. A few more missions and I would complete it.

The topical tests

I just had my topical test 1 last week. It was a tough paper.Nevertheless, I managed to score an A which was above 37 1/2 over 50. I scored 42 over fifty which was a mark away from band 1. I was above the average score of my class which was 40.3. The highest was full marks. There is still another topical test which comes on 21st August so I still have time to revise on my topics.

The Transformers Movie

The Trasformers movie was fantastic. I watched it twice . I went to the cinema at VivoCity with my family to watch it and the grafics were awesome. I like the Autobot named Bumblebee as I liked the form of his car as it was a sport car unlike the rest of the Autobots, apart from Jazz. I watched it the second time at Jurong Point with my friends. One of my friend, Samuel, booked the seats for us and also payed for us the ticket as that day was his birthday. Chi Hon and I bought him a Maplestory card for him. We split the price and then we each paid half.

The Closing ceremony

There was a closing ceremony of the track and field competition. I attended the ceremony with the school team members and saw that many other schools also attended the event. It was also the day which the finals were happening. My p6 friend,Sadiq, got 2nd in the finals of the 800m event. I wished I got a medal like his.

My First week of school

The first day of a new term. A new term to be tortured by teachers with difficult questions and loads of homework.Back to the same old routine of normal schooldays. At least there are friends,weekends and holidays to look up to.In the new sitting arrangement I have to sit next to a boy who loves to talk to himself. His name is Bryan. Hopefully things will go well.

The 100m Race

Just last Thursday I went to Bishan Stadium where I competed in the inter-school athletics tournament. Today's event was the 100m race. I went along with the P6 boys,Ajmal and Syamil and a P4 boy,Ki Meng. My race was at 10.30a.m. I was pretty nervous while I lined up for the race. Things turned out not quite well but I finished first in my heats. The top 16 were selected for the semifinals and I was in 17th place. my teacher said that I was 0.02 seconds behind the boy in the 16th place.

the beginning of the holidays

Ahhhh. finally, the holidays are beginning. I still would have my holidays disturbed by my P5 camp and my maths enrichment stuff not forgetting my athletics training which is twice or thrice a week. I also have tonnes of homework posted online by my teachers too. This week I was busy at school with my IPW project. At least during the holidays I would be able to play the computer everyday after I do maybe some chores or homework.

the oncoming p5 camp

This year, there will be something there wouldn't be on any other school year. It is the P5 camp.I can pay by edusave the cost of $95.20. I It will be held from 1st - 3rd of June which is during the holiday. The last day of the camp falls on the day i would have my madrasah exam so i would have to change the date to 5th of june.

Finally the exams are over. I can relax from studiying for a while. I haven't got the marks for the exams yet but I think they should be okay. I still have to worry about my madrasah exams that starts on the following week but it is not going to be much of a problem. I often get in the top 3 of the class and I should try to keep it that way. Next week is going to be my NAPHA test and I do not think I will need much training.

Program Ilmiah

Baru tadi di madrasah ada program ilmiah iatu sebuah program yang pelajar-pelajar mengambil bahagian seperti hafalan surah, kuiz tentang akhlak,sirah,fikah dan tauhid. Saya mengambil bahagian dalam hafalan surah. Saya harus menghafal Al-Alaq. Saya akan dipotong markah jika tersilap baca dan tajwid. Akhirnya saya dapat nombor kedua dan dapat hadiah 1 buku nota.

Oral Exams

My oral exam happened about a week ago. I was extremely nervous as always every year. It was held after school at 1.30p.m. My malay teacher only gave tips right before the exam. The worst part was that the teacher testing my english oral was my form teacher, Mrs Vijay. Acutally, that wasn't so bad after I was tested. It was my malay oral exam that made me tangled my tongue and forget words. Finally after 10mins, it was over but my teacher did not tell us that there would be a mock-SA1 paper.

sports day 2007

It had been a wonderful sports day for me. It happened on the 13 of April. I ran tghe 100metre race. I had been nervous and anxious the few days before but it's over. I got first in the event just like last year. I thought I would lose against a boy named Samir. During the race, he actually got 3rd. My house,Leopard,got last this year but we got 2nd last year. The winner this year and last year is Jaguar.

April fools!

On Friday,a day before April fool's day,everyone started doing pranks and playing tricks on everyone else.Everyone has gotten into the spririt of the occasion but nobody dared to do that to the teachers. It all started when my friend Syafiq said there was a dead lizard below a desk. Someone then screamed then syafiq said it "April fools!". It went on in my madrasah too.

The school term starts

Gah! Its been terrible since school reopened. There are only few things I look forward to which are going for athletics training and playing with friends whenever we can and sometimes in the classroom. The horific stuff are staying back for recess ,doing homework and many more. The teacher who gives out the most homework is my maths teacher, Ms Yap. A new class monitor should be elected soon and it will be a relief as I don't have to shout at the class telling them to keep quiet but I seldom do that.

In the middle of holidays

The holidays were not as exciting as I thought it was. I planned to go to the arcade with my friend ,Syafiq but there was too much homework and ended up playing the Xbox360 and the computer. Ms Yap, my maths teacher,gave most of the homework which was difficult worksheets and problem sums to complete.I also had to do assesment and go to athletics training as I'm a school runner so I must attend extra training.

The Holidays started

Finally after countless days of teaching and horrific teachers, here comes the most important part of the year in my opinion, the holidays. The week I have been waiting for the entire term. There are much to be done,so little time like playing my Xbox 360 and the computer.Best of all, no school! No teachers screaming and no getting punished for not completing my homework. So I better get moving.

My exam results

My exam results just came last week. They were not bad or good just normal. I was dissapointed in my results although my teacher said it was okay. I got 80/100 for mathematics and 37/50 for english. Well, I got 28/30 for the science section A and 24/33 for malay section B so it might be bad or good, I will not know yet.

My New Game

I just got a new game for my birthday which was 2 days ago.Its called Gears Of War. Its a really scary game with blood, evil creatures called Locust and corpses everywhere. Its really fun if you know how to play it. It cost $69.90 Singapore dollars. I first saw and played it at my cousin's house at Pasir Ris.

The car accident

This happened a week ago when my father was driving his car. Suddenly, he crashed into a lorry.Luckily he was not injured but his car was sent to a workshop for a week. He rented a Subaru Impreza TS. It had a sporty look. Every day, he would send me to school. Somehow, it was less spacious than the previous car but it was faster.

Extra classes

An extra class seems like a boring activity and sometimes is a complete waste of time.(Only CCAs seem fun) The teacher keep on droning on and on.Last year I slept during class which makes me feel refreshed. My athletics is fun as I go to Jurong West stadium to train with the school runners.
(including me) I go there by bus every time. The coaches are Mr Nantha, Mr Andy Tan and two others which I have forgotten. The english extra class teacher,Mrs Vijay, always pick me to answer questions. I feel very annoyed and ..... I don't know.

My (boring) days of school life

Another year, another subject to learn. This year I will be taking up higher mother so time will be a bit tight. I hate extra classes.(exept for CCA) Always , the teacher drones on and on ...... and me and my friend sometimes would be talking. The higher malay class only has 11 people in it so I have to do more presentations.

My Teachers

By the second week of school, I knew all my teachers already. My english teacher is Mrs Vijay. She is good at teaching as she is the H.O.D. of english in my school. My malay teacher is Mdm Rozana. She is quite strict. I hate my science teacher is Mrs Lim. She is too strict. My maths teacher,
Miss Yap is always using my name for examples of questions. For example, Ariff is a banker and a man came to the bank. the man wanted 800 000 but Ariff put 8 000 000.How much extra did he put? and my P.E. teacher is Mr Koh.

The first week of school

I never liked school. It is tiring ,boring and not much fun. The teachers are always strict and fierce.
I also have to wake up early in the morning which makes me restless.Now my school has moved to a new compound faraway. That will make me wake up much earlier, unless my father will send me to school.
