The dental appointment

I had my dental appointment last Friday at the health promotion board. I was rather nervous when I got there. I kept wondering if they were going to extract one of my tooth. Soon, my number was called. The dentist took a look in my mouth and took me to the x-ray room as 1 of my tooth did not go out. After the x-ray, the dentist told me that the tooth did not have enogh space to go out so I would have to wear braces to make space for it.

The youth olympics seminar

I was one of the few pupils selected to attend the Youth Olympics Seminar just now from 7.45a.m. to 12.30p.m. I was selected because I was the new captain of the athletics team. I went there together with Syafiq, Ashwin and a few other puils. The seminar were held at Suntec City convention hall 602. They told us that Singapore is one of the 5 candidate cities shortlisted to host the Youth Olympics which is the first time they will be organizing it. Among them are Moscow,Bangkok, Athens and one which I have forgotten. My favourite part of it was the breaks when they gave us a chicken pie and canned drinks.

The start of the school term

Ahh. The first day of the school term. I got to meet my friends again and also had to wake up early in the morning. The first week of school was just the teachers telling us what they expect and also put up class rules. This year, I will be taking my PSLE this year. We will have to do more work and spend more time revising.

Stay At Hambali's House

I stayed over at Hambali's house twice this holiday. It was a great stay over. Azfar and I went to his house after going back from prayers at the mosque that Friday to bring clothes. We watched CDs, played the computer, and played soccer andthhe computer. We also cycled around the the blocks and stayed up late playing, and talking. The holidays are about to end and then, I would have to concentrate on my studies as I will be taking my PSLE next year.

Madrasah Results

I just got my madrasah report book today and buy the books needed for classes next year. I got 4th in my class this semester and it was the lowest position I ever got. It wasn't bad but what can I say but it was better than what I had expected considering that I hadn 't studied properly and I forgot to bring my books to study during my stayover at Akmal's house for 4 days.

This Friday, I stayed over at my cousin's house whose name is Hambali. I went there together with my cousin, Azfar,after the Friday prayers. We played the computer and played soccer downstairs. Then we went to Pioneer Mall to buy some drinks and snacks. Then at night,we watched a movie and ate the snacks while watching the movie. The next morning, we ate cheese prata for breakfast and we went over to my house to play the Xbox360 together till night.

The Renovation

My house is currently under renovation. It not very comfortable as it is very dusty and we have to eat out during lunch and dinner and have bread during breakfast. During the noisy parts of the renovation,we go out of the house to my nearby relatives house. THe good parts is that sometimes we get to go to fast food restaurants.

the stay over at akmal's house

What a great week. I spent my time on Tuesday till Friday at my cousin's house at Pasir Ris. We played the Xbox for a long time and and played his PSP before sleeping. We played games like FIFA street 2 and starwars battlefront 2 on his Xbox and 300, Virtual Tennis 3 and Sims2 on his PSP. We woke up late, had breakfast and then we started playing. We stopped at tmes when we were to pray and have our meals. We slept late at night too.

Azfar's sleepover

Azfar sleptover at my house two days ago. We had a lot of fun. We played the Xbox360 from afternoon till night playing games like FIFA 08 ,Halo 3 and Gears of War. My brother always gets the highest score for HAlo 3. We also played the online game Soldier front on the computer.

THe PRize Giving Ceremony

Last friday was the prize giving ceremony. I had to be there at 8.30a.m. as I was a prize recipient as I was best in Higher Malay but it was a complete waste of time as we had to wait for 1 and 1/2 hr. We also had to wait for the P1 to P4 pupils to receive their prizes before it was our turn. It took about 45minutes and all I got was a $15 popular voucher. After that, we had to watch a presentataion by the speech and drama club.

the holiday to KL

I just returned from a holiday to KL with my family and some other relatives. I skipped school for a day as we were on on holiday. We visited quite a few places and got a bit lost while driving there. The trip lasted for 3 days and 2 nights at the Mi Casa hotel.

The Week of Exams

The exams which lasted for a week are over. Finally I can stop studying for exams and start playing cards at school with my friends. I also sat for the last exam just now which was the Higher Malay exam and when I got home, I could play my Xbox360 and the computer. I got some of the results too and I was quite satisfied with them, especially my malay exam.

The Beginning of Exams

My year end exam is strating and the main paper starts next week. My teachers have given plenty of revision over this term and i think that I am quite ready for it. My oral exams and listening comprehension exams and the comprhention exams are over. I still have to revise for the exams so I can get good grades.

Hari Raya Aidilfitri

It has been a good Hari Raya so far. I got a lot of money from my aunts and uncles and also had a lot of fun. I have not gone to my friend's house yet but I intend to do so. Them bad thing is that Hari Raya occurs in between my exams this time but it is also during the PSLE marking days so I have plenty of time to relax too.

The PSLE marking days

One whole week of holidays. Finally I can relax for a week,and do homework that the teacher assigned. I also have to do some online homework which will be sent to me online by my teachers. It was said that each teacher would give about 5 homework. At least I can look forward to playing the Xbox360 and the computer and also Hari Raya Aidilfitri which will come tomorrow.

children's day concert

Yesterday was my school's children's day celebration. We had one and a half hour of recess which was great so we got to play soccer for a longer time. The also set up booths for the students to play games. After that, a children's day concert was held. The teachers entertained us and some of their jokes were'nt funny.

the civic distric trail

Last week, me and my class went on the civic district trail at Marina Bay. There were a lot of things to learn about such as the World War memorials. We walked a long distance under the blazing sun although the muslims were fasting . We were awfully thristy but we still fasted although there were people selling ice-cream along the way.

The fasting month

The fasting month began a few days ago. It was not so bad as at school I still have enough energy to play soccer. At around 6.00p.m. was the time that I started to feel hungry. Somehow,I could not eat much when we breakfast.

The Holidays

What a holiday it was. Me and my family went to Cameron Highland this holidays. We started the trip on Sunday morning. We stopped for the night at Kuala Lumpur. While we were there, we watched some fireworks at Putrajaya. It was a beautiful city with tall and new buildings. When we were at Cameron Highland, we went to many farms there and stayed at a hotel called the Equatorial. It was a memorable and wonderful experience.

The exam results

I just received my report book yesterday. I scored straight band 2s. I was quite disappointed by my science results which was 81/100 as I always get a band 1 or an A*. I was also disappointed in my Malay results as I only got 77/100 but I also topped the class. I got 73/100 for higher Malay with only a score of 73/100. I also got 84/100 for my English exams.
