The Start of the New Term

The start of the new term. 3 more months to my PSLE. I been receiving quite a sum of homework recently, especially for the weekends. During the holidays, I want to go to school as I'm bored at home and when I'm at school, I want to rest at home. Now the track and field championships have started and I hope that I can qualify for the finals.

The Malacca trip

Me, my family and some other relatives went to Malacca to visit my relatives. It was a very long time since the last itme I saw them. It took three hours just to cross the causeway which was jammed. That was the most boring part of the trip.I passed the time by listening to my mp3 player. At my relative's house we found stuff to do such as playing soccer and watching television. On the way back home , we bought some new clothes.

The NAPHA test

I just had my NAPHA test this. I quite confident that I woud get a gold this time round. I got a silver last year and the year before. This time, As for the 1.6km run, shuttle run, inclined pull-ups and sit ups. I got a B for my stand board jump which I got 200cm which was 2cm away from an A and a C for my sit and reach which I have never been good at.

The SA1 exams

Finally the exams are over as the term is ending. I hope that I do well as I have put plenty of effort into learning. Some of the exams are quite tough like the Mathematics and English and the others are not so simple like in the previous exam. Now I can finally relax and have some fun.

The Sports day.

I just had my sports day on thursday. I participated in 2 events which were the 200m and the 4x100m event. I achieved the first place in both events. Inthe 200m , I was quite far from the 2nd placed runner,Syafiq,and in the 4x100m race, my team won by more than 50m. The first runner had already overtook the other competitors. The rest of the day was quite boring.

The Leopard House Practise

The Leopard house practise just begun. It goes on for 2 weeks before the sports day. We were already assigned the events. I am running the 200m race and the 2nd runner in the 4x100m race. I really want to win as this is my last year at Pioneer Primary School and it would be great if I could get a prize.

My team was finally out of the Westzone soccer championships. We On that match, only 10 players out of the 16 in the squad came. We had to rope in a p4 player to play with us and we had no subtitutes . We lost 3-1 but I managed to dribble past alot of their players as midfielder although I played as a striker in all the previous matches.

We are finally out of the Westzone soccer championships. We exited the competition after losing to Kranji and then got 8th position after losing to Unity Primary. During the last match against Unity, a lot of players did not come. We only had 10 p6 players out of the 16 in the squad. We ahd to take in a P4 soccer player to play with us. It was a rather difficult match and we lost 3-1 to them. I managed to dribble through a lot of defenders while playing as a left midfielder.

The Last Day of School

The Last week of school is always the best as we would be given lesser homework. That means that I could have more time to relax and to play. I got back my report book and was satisfied with my results except for my malay which I have done better last year. I got As for my malay and english, a merit for my higher malay and A*s for my maths and science.

The exams

Finally the CA1 is over. The exams were quite tough. I was a usual nervous while taking the exam but it was over soon. I haven't gotten my results except for Malay. I scored 55/69 for my Malay and I was quite disappointed with my results but there was nothing I could do now. My maths teacher told me that there were 23 A* and 2 Bs. I hope I'm not the one getting one of the Bs.

The soccer match

Pioneer Primary have guranteed a spot the second round of the Westzone inter-school soccer competition. The last match does not make any changes to the fixtures. The track and field teacher also came to watch us play as all the p6 school team members were also playing for the soccer team. During that match, Mr Siva has agreed to let the reserves play as they have not gotten a chance to play yet. He also changed around the positions of the first eleven and observed how we fair. In the end, we drew 1-1.

THe Chinese New Year Holidays

The start end of a long weekend. I had a long Chinese New Year holiday and the weekends came straight after it. I had only one homework as my class has a lot of chinese students. I spent most of my time playing FIFA 08 on my Xbox360 and computer games and I spent sometime doing revision. Well,tomorrow is a school day so I better get my stuff ready.

The Soccer match

It was the second inter-school match I've ever played in. It was the match that Pioneer beat Zhenghua Primary 5-1. I didn't score a goal but my cross gave someone a chance to score. I was the only one who got into the first team without even going to training. Maybe it was because I could run very fast but I could not kick very hard. The day after that I went to Jurong Point to get my new soccer boots.

The soocer team trial

Mr Siva, my P.E teacher, invited me to join the soccer team. It was held after school at Jurongville Secondary, just beside my school. First, they tested us at corners. I managed to score 1. After that , the coach tested our passing and kicking. After that, I could have been in the team if I wasn't the captain of the Athletics team. Mr Nantha said that I had to stay to set good example for the juniors.

The dental appointment

I had my dental appointment last Friday at the health promotion board. I was rather nervous when I got there. I kept wondering if they were going to extract one of my tooth. Soon, my number was called. The dentist took a look in my mouth and took me to the x-ray room as 1 of my tooth did not go out. After the x-ray, the dentist told me that the tooth did not have enogh space to go out so I would have to wear braces to make space for it.

The youth olympics seminar

I was one of the few pupils selected to attend the Youth Olympics Seminar just now from 7.45a.m. to 12.30p.m. I was selected because I was the new captain of the athletics team. I went there together with Syafiq, Ashwin and a few other puils. The seminar were held at Suntec City convention hall 602. They told us that Singapore is one of the 5 candidate cities shortlisted to host the Youth Olympics which is the first time they will be organizing it. Among them are Moscow,Bangkok, Athens and one which I have forgotten. My favourite part of it was the breaks when they gave us a chicken pie and canned drinks.

The start of the school term

Ahh. The first day of the school term. I got to meet my friends again and also had to wake up early in the morning. The first week of school was just the teachers telling us what they expect and also put up class rules. This year, I will be taking my PSLE this year. We will have to do more work and spend more time revising.

Stay At Hambali's House

I stayed over at Hambali's house twice this holiday. It was a great stay over. Azfar and I went to his house after going back from prayers at the mosque that Friday to bring clothes. We watched CDs, played the computer, and played soccer andthhe computer. We also cycled around the the blocks and stayed up late playing, and talking. The holidays are about to end and then, I would have to concentrate on my studies as I will be taking my PSLE next year.

Madrasah Results

I just got my madrasah report book today and buy the books needed for classes next year. I got 4th in my class this semester and it was the lowest position I ever got. It wasn't bad but what can I say but it was better than what I had expected considering that I hadn 't studied properly and I forgot to bring my books to study during my stayover at Akmal's house for 4 days.

This Friday, I stayed over at my cousin's house whose name is Hambali. I went there together with my cousin, Azfar,after the Friday prayers. We played the computer and played soccer downstairs. Then we went to Pioneer Mall to buy some drinks and snacks. Then at night,we watched a movie and ate the snacks while watching the movie. The next morning, we ate cheese prata for breakfast and we went over to my house to play the Xbox360 together till night.
